Orange detectable marking tape imprinted in black with "CAUTION FIBER OPTIC CABLE BURIED BELOW". Designed to withstand the elements marking tape is the first line of defense against intrusion on buried cable. Bury warning tape above an entire length of cable and stop destructive digging before it causes expensive damage to lines. Our tape is long lasting and surpasses ASTM tests for color fastness and durability. Surpasses the ASTM D-1712 Color-Fastness test. Ink is permanent and cannot be removed by normal handling or upon underground burial. Material and ink are chemically inert and will not degrade when exposed to outdoor elements. Detectable tape features a solid foil core that is encased in a protective jacket and is visible on one side. After burial the tape can be located using a variety of pipe and cable locators. 5.5 mil 3 ply laminated.
